Cakewalk

Hello again!
Tsukasa finally reached Level 30, can be PKed from now on and got military rank 1 - woot.

It was some work tho...
Leveling a Fa Shih isn't that easy. Especially when the mobs are a few lvl higher than you...
As you can see, I even joined a clan. ReBelS is a german-only clan.
The people there sure are nice - if you are looking for a clan to enjoy your evening after a long day with - join them! Of course you need to be able to read/write german :-P

I had to sort the quests... which one to do first... which one to do one or two levels later.
Hehe, wasn't easy, I tell ya ;-)

Yesterday, I reached level 29.
Now the real work began. Getting the important quests done. At first, Samantha and Melinda helped me out with a level 32 boss monster. Thanks to the both of you! On a sidenote: They are members of ReBelS ;-)
But later on, high level characters were needed to finish my 29 fb...
The dungeon itself were the boss was in, was boring... three rooms including the entrance and the boss room.
It took us about 20 minutes to finish the quest.

Celestin, one of the guys that I know back from my Lineage 2 days, got the group going.
She has been a great help so far.
Later this evening she even got me an invite to her clan.
The clan itself is an malaysian clan whose language is focused on english. Until now, alot of non-malaysians joined.
We've got more than 190 members ^-^

Thanks again to everyone helping!

Shortly after we finished the fb, I leveled up to 30.
I was glad to have 340 fame points... at level 30 you need 300 of them to get "Military Rank 1".

Another quest later, I gained the ability to fly.

Ok ok, I always had the ability, but not the item.

It's looking pretty gimp... and it even is gimp regarding the stats, but meh - it's a flying sword... :-D
I guess I'll buy myself a better one in the Item Mall... later... in some weeks and levels...

And with the flying sword, new areas and monster are available! Hoho!

Soon Tsukasa will kill nasty dragons...

... and visit castles and cities in the sky!

Stay tuned for more dungerous adventures of Tsukkie-chan!!

Some good news and some not so good news

Ok guys, just a little update so far.
The good thing is, I've got everything up and running. Upgraded to Fedora 7 yesterday and dang, this is one smooth system now!
Windows is running too, aswell as the bootloader - finally!

So far so good, now to the not so good stuff...
Well, this depends - I simply have no motivation to keep on playing Nakika right now.
Reason for this is the announced second chinese Server. The lag overthere is said to be less than the lag now.
Daemonator said it'll be up early june, so it should be open within the next few days.

And down it goes!

Well... this just sucks...
Trying to get my main machine running again - it's currently down.
The major problem right now is the boot loader. Dunno why, but Lilo und grub just won't start anymore after installing kubuntu. Tried Fedora Core 6 and Slackware too, nothings working right now - though the systems themself are able to boot.

Guess Windows messed my things up when I installed it - might take some time and data loss.

Fox on the run

Minasan konnichi wa!

Last session alot has happend...
Duh, don't even remember how many quests I completed >.<
But I can tell you, there are pretty nice ones out there!
First things first.
When I logged in, Naki-chan was lvl 14, still the old area and nothing special...
I was exping... and exping... and exping... ding, level up... exping, exping, exping... Ding, level up...

Buah!? Right, I outleveled the farm quests... The game wants me to move onto the next camp.

Ok, glad I was scouting earlier. Could port over there, saving me alot of sweat.
Let me tell you one thing. If you want to move to the north, take the wet way and swim.
The road is packed with aggro mobs >.<
So, there I was again. Getting new farm quests from the NPC the game wanted me to visit. I was exping, getting a new outfit, doing lots and lots of exp quests.

I can tell you, there are alot of exp quests in that village. And they are worth it.

Turning 18 I thought, why not ask Santa-san for a new and incredibly stron pet?
So now we had a fox on the run...
Moving north, just north - trying to avoid aggro mobs - trying to survive.

It took me days, weeks... no years... ah well, not really :P

After an hour or so I arrived at the cave...

And here they were - gigantic golems, powerful and stylish :D

First pet went in, went down, going out of the dungeon - plop - a larg spawn of new golems just outside the dungeon O.O

whooo, my heart was beating... I wasn't really prepared but judging from the earlier fight I thought I'd pick the wolf.

And just when it died, I caught the golem! Woooot!
Tried it out as soon as possible and it's one hell of a pet ^_^
Full p.def and p.atk - yay!

I leveled to 19 quiet fast, and know what? I even did the quest for the new spells.

Way to go Naki-chan!

Soo, let's see if I join the pilgrimage of our community later on this day.
Might be a little late for me, 1 or 2 hours should be fine - I think ...

With that said,
stay tuned for more of Naki-chans mid-lvl adventures!!

It's party time!

Greetings, my fellow readers!

Today was a weird day... when I got up I was totally unmotivated and felt lazy >.<
Once I got my hands on a cup of noodles I finally logged Nakika on.
After some farming I gained a level and went back to the little village.
Surprise! A new quest was available, given by the blacksmith!

It's a Yao Jing-only quest and is a little push up for exping.
All you've got to do is to get an egg out of one of those nasty yellow guys.

They are not hard, but it might take some time until you succeed...
Don't worry, it's worth it! Gave me about 30% of exp.

Well, I went back to farming. And as I was doing my work like a little bot another Yao Jing approached me (o o).

To all of you out there! And I know you are there... Don't bother asking me to join your guild.

I dislike ninja invites, if I want to join one, I'd let you know, or at least, I'd have to know you better ~_~

She wasn't the only one... you know >_>
The same goes for random inviting into groups >.<>

But there are others too.

I met this mighty fellow during my farming sessions and know what?

He's quite a nice guy... we had a long chat and got some exping done - this was Nakikas first party! Woot :D

Yao Jing

Soo, last time I explained that you could tame monsters into pets.
This is not entirely true.
The monsters has to be your level or below and even if that criteria is met, there is another one.

In the target window on the left side of the monsters name, there is a smiley. This one indicates the level of difficulty to catch it. There are green, orange and red smileys. Pretty much selfexplainable, isn't it?

But that's not all, not every monster has a smiley next to it's name. And those without it can - as sad as it is - not become a pet...

Next time I'll tell you about the Yao Jings other skills!
Be sure to keep on reading ;-)

Farming farming farming...

Hi everyone,

now onto something important!
Farming.
Right now I'm farming little stones. They are needed to upgrade your weapon or other items.
For each +1 you need 25 of those Stones:

The guy with the golden/yellow name above his head is the quest-npc.
You can choose your level and he'll ask you to kill 20 mobs of the same level.
Pretty easy and since you are probably exping at those mobs anyway, it's no real time sink.
The quest from this dude start at lvl 11. If you want to find him, just take a look at the map.

And if you don't know where to look for the monsters, they are located along the road:

Yao Jing

Ok, now here are some more details about the class.
As I said. it's a summoner class.
Thus Yao Jing are mages... their physics are pretty weak >.<
But don't worry! The pets make up for it, they can tank and get aggro of the mobs with a skill.
Every monster has a different skill tho...
Ah, now I mentioned tanking, you want to know how to cover up the lost HP of your pet?
Just heal it:

It can die, but you can ressurect it if neccessary (lucky me, my wolf never died).

Oh, and on a little side note... Yao Jing can turn into foxes too!

That's about it for today,
let's see what tomorrow brings.
